Check In/Pickup Location Details

  • The meeting point is at the very bottom of the steps that join Via Candia to Viale Vaticano. The coordinators will be wearing blue polo shirts or jackets for easy recognition.
    The closest metro stop is Line A – Cipro.
    Directions from metro stop Cipro:
    From the metro exit, you have to keep to the right and take the steps that indicate "Via Fra Albenzio". Once outside the station continue on "Via Fra Albenzio" until you reach the Church "Santa Maria delle Grazie" then cross the street "Via Candia" and you will reach the meeting point situated at the bottom of the steps that join Via Candia to Viale Vaticano.
    Directions from metro stop Ottaviano:
    Exit the metro station on Via Giulio Cesare. You’ll exit either on one side of the street or the other. Cross to the left-hand side, and start walking so that you are going against the traffic.
    Keep walking straight down that road, keeping left, and until you’re in view or the church Santa Maria delle Grazie, shown below. It will take you about 10 minutes.
    Turn left onto Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie, and walk to the bottom of the stairs that you will see in front of you, that’s the meeting point.

  • Due to increased security measures at many attractions some lines may form on tours with 'Skip the Line' access.

  • Please note that it is not possible to re-enter the Vatican Museums once you leave as the tickets are single entry only.
